UPDATED 3/12 3:40 pm: Philadelphia Eagles to Release Nnamdi Asomugha

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Adam Schefter is reporting that Philadelphia will send Asomugha packing today. The veteran cornerback struggled a great deal in Philadelphia's scheme after being signed to a five-year, $60 million contract back in 2011. While this move does save the Eagles money under the cap, they are on the hook for $4 million in dead money.

UPDATED 3/12 3:37 pm: New York Giants Sign Aaron Ross

After just one season in Jacksonville, it appears that Ross is heading back to New York. UPDATED 3/12 3:15 pm: Seattle Seahawks Plan on Releasing Leon Washington

First reported by Adam Schefter. Seattle is going to release return specialist Leon Washington.
