Cowboys 14, Eagles 13

Rookie Stephen McGee threw a go-ahead touchdown pass to Jason Witten with 55 seconds left and the visiting Dallas Cowboys beat the playoff-bound Philadelphia Eagles 14-13 on Sunday.

McGee, making his first career start, capped a nine-play, 54-yard drive with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Witten. Terence Newman’s second interception with 32 seconds left sealed the win.

Philadelphia (10-6), which was locked into the No. 3 seed no matter the result, will host sixth-seeded Green Bay next Sunday at 4:30 p.m. EST.

DeMarcus Ware returned a fumble 17 yards for a touchdown for Dallas (6-10), which finished 5-3 under interim head coach Jason Garrett. According to media reports, Garrett will be named the full-time head coach.

The Eagles used the game as an opportunity to rest Michael Vick and other injured starters. Vick (quad contusion), DeSean Jackson (toe) and LeSean McCoy were among the Eagles starters that did not suit up.

Kolb, making his first start since Week 7, gave the Eagles a 7-0 lead with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Chad Hall early in the second quarter. But Dallas tied it when Ware returned a fumble 17 yards for a score just over three minutes later.

Philadelphia took a 13-7 lead on a pair of field goals from David Akers.
