Dolphins 34, Raiders 14

Matt Moore ran for one touchdown and threw for another, and the Miami Dolphins held the visiting Oakland Raiders to 46 yards rushing en route to a 34-14 victory on Sunday.

Reggie Bush rushed for 100 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown run – set up by a 77-yard kickoff return by Clyde Gates to open the second half – to put Miami in front 20-0.

The Raiders (7-5), who had their three-game winning streak snapped, fell into a first-place tie with Denver in the AFC West. The Broncos won at Minnesota 35-32 on Sunday.

Oakland’s Michael Bush, who had averaged 107.8 yards rushing in place of the injured Darren McFadden, was held to 18 on 10 carries Sunday.

Miami’s defense got into the scoring act when Kevin Burnett intercepted Carson Palmer’s pass and returned it 34 yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter to make it 34-0.

Palmer finished 20 of 41 for 273 yards with two touchdowns.

Miami took a 13-0 lead when Moore found Davone Bess open on a crossing pattern for a 12-yard touchdown with 8:30 left in the first half.

The Dolphins had the ball for 9:45 of the first quarter, but had to settle for a pair of Dan Carpenter field goals.
