Here are the players who receive the ACC helmet stickers for Week 1.

Tajh Boyd – Quarterback, Clemson

Boyd was the star player in Week 1's marquee match-up between Georgia and Clemson.  Boyd cemented his name in the Heisman discussion by tossing three touchdowns and rushing for two more.  Sammy Watkins had six catches for 127 yards and a touchdown whilst running back Roderick McDowell had 132 yards on the ground.  However,  Boyd was the difference in a match that lived up to its billing.

Jamies Winston – Quarterback, Florida State

Who is EJ Manuel again?  While replacing the now Buffalo Bill was one of Florida State’s areas of concern heading into the season,  Winston’s performance against Pittsburgh quickly erased any concern.  The freshman completed all but two of his 27 pass attempts for 357 and four touchdowns as well as adding a fifth touchdown on the ground.

Duke Johnson – Running Back, Miami

The Miami Hurricanes’ running back began the season in remarkable fashion with 186 rushing yards on 19 carries in the U’s win over Florida Atlantic.  The sophomore added a 38 yards reception for good measure,  as he increased the hype around Miami’s dynamic offense.

Alex Amidon – Wide Receiver, Boston College

Whilst a tough season is almost certainly in store for the Eagles in 2013,  Amidon will be a light that will shine brightly throughout.  The senior wide receiver caught 13 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown in the 24-14 victory over Villanova.
