Week 5 was an exciting week in college football. With a ton of close games and a lot of scoring, fantasy football players were happy.

Here is a look at some “Studs” and some “Duds” of Week 5 in college fantasy football:


Studs

Quarterback

Sean Mannion, Oregon State: 414 yards and six touchdowns

Cody Fajardo, Nevada: 389 yards and three touchdowns, 81 yards and two touchdowns rushing

Zach Mettenberger, LSU: 372 yards and three touchdowns


Running back

Antonio Andrews, Western Kentucky: 182 yards and two touchdowns

Tim Cornett, UNLV: 179 yards and three touchdowns

Mike Davis, South Carolina: 167 yards and three touchdowns


Wide Receiver

Jared Abbrederis, Wisconsin: Ten catches for 207 yards and a touchdown

Brandin Cooks, Oregon State: Nine catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns

Devante Davis, UNLV: Ten catches for 164 yards and three touchdowns


Tight End

Hunter Henry, Arkansas: Four catches for 109 yards


Duds

Quarterback

David Fales, San Jose State: 314 yards and zero touchdowns along with two interceptions

Bo Wallace, Ole Miss: 159 yards and zero touchdowns


Running back

Jeff Scott, Ole Miss: 40 total yards

Ben Malena, Texas A&M: 40 yards and two touchdowns, BUT is slowly losing the lion’s share of touches


Wide Receiver

Josh Huff, Oregon: Three touches for 42 yards and a touchdown

Solomon Patton, Florida: Three catches for 12 yards


Tight End

Eric Ebron, UNC: Four catches for 63 yards
