Twas the week before Christmas and all through the land

Condi and Darla were snug in their beds

They’d invited some girlies to join the club too

When all of sudden was heard a great clatter
Every golfer strained to hear what was the matter
It seems Mike Davis and the USGA
Would not let the Belly Putter Stay in play
Keegan, Webb and Ernie, as well
Had got the attention of the R&A, do tell
The USGA and R&A doth Decree
The Anchored Stroke is just not legal, you see
Tiger with his own concerns planned a great change
For in 2012 no major titles he claimed
He did find the winners circle three times last year
But he’s vowed to win more Majors and made that perfectly clear
So He chipped and he putted and he chipped some more
TW vowed to go lower on the weekends next year for sure

There’ll be no shenanigans with him leading the pack
The youngsters to the senior may have to adapt
Neither ping pong nor pool will be played in the clubroom, perhaps

If the players will listen he’ll bring the Cup back here

Tim Finchem had given tour players great pleasure
Tour wives are nagging their spouses to practice
“Lower those scores and bring home more cabbage!”
2012 was a fantastic golf year
How could ‘13 be better I feared
And eer as I turned on my TV to see Rory, Bubba, Phil, and Rickie
Twill be a great Golf Season Next year too, You’ll see!!
