Bud Cauley wins Hotel Fitness Championship on Web.com Tour

Bud Cauley will be back on the PGA Tour in 2015 after his win in the Web.com Tour Finals at the Hotel Fitness Championship. A dislocated shoulder forced him to sit out a few weeks on the PGA Tour and he missed the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Cauley began Sunday in fourth place two shots behind the leader Colt Knost. He started fast with five birdies in his first six holes and added two more on his back nine to finish at seven-under-par 65 to leave him one shot clear of Knost for the win.

Knost fired a final round four-under-par 68, but came up just short. He does move to No. 4 in the Web.com Tour priority list and should punch his ticket back to the PGA Tour for next season.

Three-time champion this season on the Web.com Tour, Carlos Ortiz continues to lead the priority list, but shot 76-77 to miss the cut in Fort Wayne.

Sam Saunders shot a pair of 66’s to hold the 36-hole lead at Sycamore Hills, but 70-72 on the weekend dropped him to a T-4 finish.

The Web.com Tour Finals next moves to Davidson, North Carolina for the Chiquita Classic, the second of four tournaments in the final series.
