The 21 year-old is the top position player in the Philadelphia organization, and has made his presence known during Spring Training. Even though his batting average doesn’t prove it, the hits he has been getting have been strong. If that doesn’t help, his numbers from last season in High-A Clearwater and Double-A Reading will prove it otherwise. Franco hit with a .320 batting average, 36 doubles, 31 homeruns, and 103 RBI’s on both teams. Before you book your ticket to watch him at a Phillies game, remember Ryan Howard already has 1st Base to himself. Will we see him on the big league field this season?
