Surprising Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson may be forced to the disabled list after exiting Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds with a left oblique strain.
Anderson, 29, was lifted from the game after just eight pitches due to pulling up lame on the bump.
The veteran has pitched to a tremendous 6-2 record with a 2.89 ERA and 1.11 WHIP thus far on the season.
Considering oblique injuries like this are hard to gauge, it would not be a surprise if Anderson were to miss some extensive time. Though, Milwaukee itself has yet to place him on the DL.
