Opening day around the baseball world was somewhat hit and miss in daily fantasy. Two games were postponed to injury and once ace starter missed his initial start with food poisoning (that really happened). This limited our value player article by two guys, Carlos Beltran and Sonny Gray.

Among the three others that we recommended, Ryan Zimmerman tallied a hit and a run scored in five at-bats. Meanwhile, Washington Nationals teammate Daniel Murphy racked up two hits, two RBI's, two walks and a run scored. In Texas, Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre tallied an RBI and a walk in five plate appearances.
