As long as you can forgive Scherzer for a bad outing in Colorado (I know I can) he has been utterly dominant over the last month and half. Not counting Scherzer’s last start he has allowed more than two runs only once, and that was a three run outing which against Arizona where he still managed to go eight innings with 11 strikeouts which is still a dominant outing. Scherzer has struck out double digit batters in five of his last nine starts, and during his last 56.1 innings he owned a 1.44 ERA with 70 strikeouts and 11 walks. Now Scherzer gets to face the atrocious Braves offense. The Braves struggle big time to score runs, and they strikeout a lot making this perfect for Scherzer.
