Archer was a bit of a mess in the first half of the season, but the Cy Young-type form we saw from the young hurler in 2015 has made more of a reappearance as of late. Over his last eight starts, Archer has a 10.73 K/9, 2.65 FIP and 0.87 HR/9. He has started to find his rhythm again and while a matchup against the Houston Astros isn't the most ideal, Houston has struck out in over 22 percent of its plate appearances in August as a team and is middle of the road in wRC+ and wOBA.
