Finnegan had a brilliant month of August posting a 2.65 ERA with 41 strikeouts in 37.1 innings. Since July 29th he has held opponents to no runs in three starts and has held them to three or fewer runs in six of seven starts. He strikes out more than a batter per inning, which is great for DFS purposes. Now Finnegan looks to continue this run of success into tonight's start against a weak Mets offense. The Mets have fallen apart as a team and are fighting just to stay in playoff contention due to injuries, and they have a tough task ahead of them with Finnegan pitching at an All-Star level right now.
