First base is one of the deeper positions in fantasy baseball, as it is loaded with talent. There is no need to rush to select a first baseman, and the only one’s that I would even consider selecting in the first three rounds are the first tier first baseman. These are the guys you can count on to produce numbers at the top of their position, year in and year out, as long as they remain healthy. In this tiers I did not list guys such as Buster Posey or Todd Frazier who’s true positions are something other than first base. This list includes only true first basemen, just be aware that there are players of other positions who can fill your first base eligibility.
