Good Value Players

Pitcher

Aaron Harang, Cubs, $6,600: Harang tossed six solid innings, allowing just one run on four hits with a couple of strikeouts in Friday's 4-3 victory over the Angels.  Bringing his record on the year to an even 5-5, Harang turned in yet another strong effort on the mound. The 36-year-old veteran has now put together a streak of four consecutive quality starts, posting a 2.92 ERA across 24.2 innings during that stretch. Harang will look to make it five in a row today versus the Phillies.

Catcher

Jacob Realmuto, Marlins, $3,000: Realmuto went 2-for-4 with three RBI in his MLB debut Thursday in Tampa Bay.  Heck of a start for the kid. He was hitting .301 with five homers and seven steals while continuing to flash his terrific contact skills in Double-A Jacksonville, and could offer some fantasy productivity at the catcher position while Jarrod Saltalamacchia (concussion) remains out.

First Base

Kendrys Morales, Twins, $3,000: Morales went 3-for-5 with three RBI in the Twins' win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.  It's been an impressive start to the 2014 campaign for Morales, who skipped a minor league assignment and joined the Twins for the start of their series with the Blue Jays on Monday. Morales is now 6-for-13 in his first three games for Minnesota, and he's likely to hold down a spot in the heart of the Twins' lineup the rest of the way.

Second Base

Dustin Pedroia, Red Sox, $3,100: Pedroia went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBI and his third homer of the season in Saturday night's loss to the Tigers. He's 7-for-21 in his last five games.  More than a third of the way through the season and Pedroia's numbers are below what we expect from him. He's yet to have a hot streak this season, but could be emerging early in June.

Third Base

Casey McGehee, Marlins, $3,100: McGehee went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI in Sunday's victory over the Pirates. He walked off with the game-winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth inning.  McGehee went 5-for-13 over the Marlins' three-game series against the Pirates, and has now hit safely in 10 straight games. He's still managing to keep his batting average above .300, and ranks among the top-10 in NL RBIs. Continue to ride McGehee while he's hot, but keep in mind that a .362 BABIP suggests that his current hitting numbers might be difficult to maintain.

Shortstop

Eugenio Suarez, Royals, $3,000: Suarez was great in the nine hole Saturday, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI and a homer in a win over the Twins.  The rookie was actually just a single shy of the cycle, as he belted his home run and a double in the third and a triple in the seventh. Suarez is now batting .400 with three bombs, six RBI and eight runs through limited action (20 at-bats) this season.

Outfield

Brandon Barnes, Rockies, $2,900: Barnes hit his second inside-the-park home run of the season in the top of the ninth of Saturday's win over the Giants.  The two-run "shot" that showcased Charlie Blackmon and Barnes racing around the bases on a line drive that Angel Pagan misplayed in center field won the game for the Rox, giving them a 5-4 lead that they would hang onto courtesy of a LaTroy Hawkins save in the bottom of the inning. Barnes is now 8-for-25 (.320) in June with four RBI and four runs scored.
