The Arizona Diamondbacks entered the season with high expectations, but an early sign of the disaster ahead came early when center fielder A.J. Pollock fractured his right elbow. While months later the Diamondbacks' postseason chances are gone, they will at least see Pollock back in action. On Friday, Arizona activated Pollock off the 60-day disabled list, he is in Friday's lineup playing center field and batting second.

Before the 2015 season, Pollock clinged to the fantasy radar. Then last season he unleashed a breakout season with 20 home runs, 76 RBIs, a .367 on-base percentage and 39 stolen bases. He became a fantasy star and expectations remained high before he fractured his elbow and missed most of the season.

With Pollock now healthy and near the top of Arizona's lineup, Pollock should slide back into fantasy lineups once again. He possesses both good contact ability and power, which pairs with speed to become the all-around fantasy player that owners look for. Arizona's lineup is still very talented and fairly deep, which bodes well for Pollock's early success.
