The Los Angeles Dodgers will be without one of their starting outfielders for the remainder of the season. Rookie Andrew Toles reportedly suffered a ton ACL in Tuesday's game and will likely miss the remainder of the season.
This is somewhat of a major blow for the Dodgers, who had relied on Toles to start all but two games prior to his injury. The 25-year-old outfielder was hitting .271 with five homers and 15 RBI on the season.
Toles injury likely means that super rookie Cody Bellinger will remain in the lineup for the foreseeable future. Fresh of NL Player of the Week honors, Bellinger is hitting .320 with five homers and 15 RBI. Look for him to remain a mainstay in the Dodgers' lineup from here on out.
