Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw departed Sunday's game against the Atlanta Braves after just two innings with an undisclosed injury.
Kershaw was seen talking with trainers before throwing a few warm-up pitches. At that point, the three-time Cy Young winner was removed from the game. There's absolutely no updates available on the type or significance of the injury.
Kershaw has pretty much been the best pitcher in the game over the course of almost the past decade. Thus far this season, the veteran is pitching to a 15-2 mark with a 2.07 ERA and 0.89 WHIP. He's also struck out 166 batters in 139.1 innings.
We'll provide updates when they become available.
