Rangers at Orioles

The Texas Rangers attempt to continue a strong road stretch when they play the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday in the second contest of a four-game set. Texas won the opener 8-5 for its seventh win in the last eight road games to improve its away mark to an impressive 25-18. Baltimore has lost four of five games, with the lone victory being provided by Adam Jones’ two-run homer in the ninth off New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera on Sunday.

Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler matched a career high with four RBIs on Monday and hit a three-run double during a six-run uprising in the sixth inning. Texas third baseman Adrian Beltre is swinging a hot bat and is batting .436 with four homers during a 10-game hitting streak. Baltimore All-Star first baseman Chris Davis struck out four times in the opener and is 1-for-18 with 11 strikeouts over his last five games.
