Brewers at Diamondbacks
The Arizona Diamondbacks aim to begin a new home winning streak when they host the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game series. Arizona suffered an 8-6 loss in Friday's opener, ending its nine-game run at Chase Field that featured three-game sweeps over the New York Mets, Chicago White Sox and San Diego Padres.
Jake Lamb continued his offensive assault at home, belting a three-run homer a day after having his 11-game hitting streak in the desert come to an end. David Peralta appears to be regaining his swing as he went 3-for-5 on Friday to give him hits in three straight contests following a three-game drought. Manny Pina and Orlando Arcia each collected three hits Friday for Milwaukee, which has won three in a row on the road. Pina has hit safely in three straight contests and six of his last seven while Arcia, who ended May with an 11-game hitting streak, is riding a four-gamer and has recorded a hit in six of his last seven.
