Diamondbacks at Pirates
The Arizona Diamondbacks can secure their second series victory against the host Pittsburgh Pirates in the past two weeks when the teams continue a four-game set Saturday afternoon. Ketel Marte's RBI single in the top of the 13th inning was the difference in the Diamondbacks' 2-1 win Friday night.
The decision gave Arizona a 4-1 record against Pittsburgh in 2018 and six wins in the last seven meetings dating to last season. Zack Greinke was the Diamondbacks' starter in the one loss to the Pirates during that stretch and he will try to get a measure of revenge in Saturday's matchup. Joe Musgrove goes for Pittsburgh, which managed just four hits - all singles - and left nine runners on base in the 13-inning loss. Josh Harrison was 0-for-5 in the opener and is hitless in 12 at-bats over his last three games for the Pirates.
