Cliff Lee allowed six hits in eight innings, while Bengie Molina and Jeff Francoeur drove in two runs apiece as the Texas Rangers earned a 6-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Saturday night.
Lee (12-8) allowed just one run - on Franklin Gutierrez's 12th homer in the seventh - and had eight strikeouts with one walk.
Francoeur had a two-run single in the fourth and Molina had a two-run single in the sixth.
Michael Young and David Murphy had RBI singles for the Rangers.
Jason Vargas (9-11) lost his sixth consecutive decision, allowing five runs on nine hits in six innings.
Ichiro Suzuki had two hits and has 193, tops in the majors.
