Braves 12, Marlins 3
Tim Hudson struck out a career-best 13 batters and Martin Prado drove in five runs to carry the Atlanta Braves to a 12-3 win on Saturday.
Hudson (15-5) allowed a run on six hits in seven innings to lower his ERA to 2.24.
Prado, Matt Diaz and Eric Hinske each belted home runs for the Braves, who built up a sizable 8-0 advantage through three innings. Brian McCann finished with three RBIs as Atlanta evened the three-game series.
Florida starter Ricky Nolasco (14-9) took the loss after allowing six runs and seven hits in only two innings of work.
Donnie Murphy, Emilio Bonifacio and Brad Davis drove in a run apiece for the Marlins.
