Troy Tulowitzki belted his fifth homer in as many days and Chris Nelson successfully stole home to snap a tie game in the eighth inning as the Colorado Rockies erased an early five-run deficit to record a 6-5 triumph over the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday afternoon.
Jason Giambi blasted a two-run homer and Dexter Fowler had an RBI double for Colorado (76-64), which posted its season-best seventh consecutive victory.
Matt Belisle (7-5) allowed one hit in two-thirds of an inning to pick up the victory.
Huston Street yielded a leadoff single in the ninth inning, but struck out the next three batters to notch his 17th save of the season.
Drew Stubbs belted a two-run homer, Ramon Hernandez had an RBI double and Paul Janish added a run-scoring single for NL Central-leading Cincinnati (79-61), which dropped its fifth straight game.
Nick Masset (3-4) entered in the eighth inning and promptly surrendered Tulowitzki's blast. He finished the frame after permitting two runs to suffer the loss.
