Casey McGehee blasted a three-run homer and added an RBI double as the Milwaukee Brewers slugged their way to a 10-6 triumph over the San Diego Padres on Friday.
Rookie Jonathan Lucroy belted a two-run shot and Rickie Weeks ripped an RBI double as Milwaukee (58-64) posted its third straight win.
Ryan Braun and Joe Inglett had run-scoring singles and Corey Hart had three hits and two runs scored for the Brewers, who banged out 15 hits in this one.
Chris Capuano (2-2) was credited with the win in this wild affair. The 32-year-old left-hander came on in relief of starter Wade LeBlanc and tossed 3 2/3 innings of no-hit ball while striking out four.
Todd Coffey fanned two in the eighth inning and Zach Braddock retired the side in the ninth to preserve the victory.
Chase Headley belted a two-run homer, Adrian Gonzalez added a solo shot and drove in two for NL West-leading San Diego (73-48), which fell for just the second time in 12 outings.
Wade LeBlanc (7-11) permitted seven runs and seven hits in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss.
