Rangers 3, Orioles 0

Adrian Beltre and Ian Kinsler homered, and Derek Holland pitched six shutout innings as the visiting Texas Rangers defeated the Baltimore Orioles 3-0 Sunday.

Beltre hit a solo homer to lead off the fourth inning and Kinsler had a two-run, two-out home run in the seventh for the Rangers (8-1), who took two of three in the series. Holland (2-0) blanked Baltimore on five hits, striking out six and walking two. Neftali Feliz got the final four outs for his third save.

Vladimir Guerrero and Derrek Lee each had two hits for the Orioles (6-3). Baltimore starter Jeremy Guthrie (1-1) gave up just one run on four hits, striking out one, in six innings.

Beltre hit his second home run in two games and third overall. Kinsler delivered his fourth homer of the season off reliever Jim Johnson on a 3-1 count.

Baltimore had two men on with two outs in three of the first five innings against Holland, but could not get a key hit. Mark Reynolds struck out and grounded out in the first and third innings, and Guerrero flied out in the fifth, ending the threats.
