Andrew McCutchen had two hits and an RBI and the Pittsburgh Pirates capitalized on a costly error to defeat the visiting Baltimore Orioles, 5-4, in the rubber game of a three-game series Wednesday.
Pirates starter Kevin Correia (9-6) labored through six innings to snap a two-game losing streak, allowing four runs on nine hits. He struck out five and walked one.
Closer Joel Hanrahan worked a perfect ninth inning to register his 20th save in as many chances this season.
