Michael Young had three hits for the third consecutive game and knocked in three runs as the host Texas Rangers finished a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles with a 13-5 victory Wednesday night.
Mike Napoli belted a three-run homer and Nelson Cruz added three RBIs for the Rangers, who had 30 runs and 46 hits (15 doubles) in the series.
Alexi Ogando (9-3) allowed four hits and three runs over seven innings to take over the team lead in victories.
Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie (3-11) threw 37 pitches in the first inning and allowed four runs on three hits and a pair of walks. Adrian Beltre had a sacrifice fly, Young followed with a RBI double and Cruz made it 4-0 with a two-run single up the middle.
Elvis Andrus broke out of a 0-for-16 slump with three hits for Texas.
Derrek Lee, who was hitless in his last 14 at-bats, hit a two-run homer in the second for the Orioles, who have lost eight of nine games. Vladimir Guerrero also homered for Baltimore, his first since June 12 and second since May 22. He has 443 career home runs.
