Curtis Granderson homered and drove in four runs and Alex Rodriguez had three RBIs as the New York Yankees continued their dominance of the host Oakland Athletics with a 10-3 victory on Tuesday.

Robinson Cano also homered as the Yankees racked up 12 hits while beating Oakland for the ninth straight time and 23rd time in 27 meetings.

Derek Jeter scored three times and New York stole four bases while winning its third straight game.

Freddy Garcia (4-4) gave up three runs and nine hits in seven innings to win his second straight decision. Garcia struck out five and walked two.

Granderson hit a two-run homer in the first inning off Brett Anderson (3-5) and singled in two runs in the fourth to boost New York’s lead to 5-1.

Rodriguez singled in a run in the third inning and delivered a two-run single in the sixth. Cano hit a two-run shot in the fifth.

David DeJesus had a run-scoring single in the third and hit a two-run homer in the fifth to account for all three Oakland runs.

Anderson (3-5) was pounded for a career-worst 10 runs – nine earned – and 11 hits in 5 1/3 innings. His ERA skyrocketed from 2.84 to 3.68.
