Twins 3, Indians 2 (10)

Ben Revere's RBI single with two outs in the 10th inning gave the Minnesota Twins a 3-2 win over the host Cleveland Indians on Wednesday.

The Twins (23-38) have won six of seven and took two of three from the faltering Indians.

Chris Perez (2-2) retired the first two hitters in the 10th, but Drew Butera doubled down the left field line. Revere, who had three hits, dropped a single in front of left fielder Michael Brantley, whose throw home skipped past catcher Lou Marson, allowing Butera to slide home safely.

Jack Hannahan's two-out homer off Matt Capps (2-3) tied the game in the ninth. Hannahan drove a 2-1 pitch to right-center that cleared the wall. It was the fifth blown save for Capps in 13 chances.

Capps retired the first two hitters before Hannahan homered for the first time since April 26.

Phil Dumatrait pitched the 10th for his first career save.

Carl Pavano allowed one run in seven innings. He gave up a solo homer to Grady Sizemore in the sixth.

Justin Masterson gave up two runs in eight innings. He started the season 5-0, but hasn't won since April 26.

Revere, batting leadoff in place of the injured Denard Span, extended his hitting streak to 10 games with an RBI single in the third. Morneau's RBI double scored Revere in the sixth for a 2-0 lead and snapped an 0-for-16 slump.
