Carlos Carrasco won his third straight start, leading the Cleveland Indians to a 5-1 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night.
Carrasco (7-3) didn't allow a hit through five innings and cruised into the seventh without giving up a run. Lyle Overbay's RBI single in the seventh ended a 21 1/3 consecutive scoreless innings streak for Carrasco, who has won six of his last seven starts.
Orlando Cabrera hit a solo homer in the sixth, and the Indians pushed across runs in the first, second and seventh to win for the second straight night in the interleague series.
Paul Maholm (3-8) allowed four runs in 6 1/3 innings for the Pirates.
Cleveland (38-31) remained in first place in the American League Central, while Pittsburgh (35-35) lost again after winning four in a row.
