Mets 4, Braves 3
Jose Reyes continued his hot hitting against Atlanta, going 3-for-5 with an RBI Tuesday to lead New York to a 4-3 win over the Braves at Turner Field.
Reyes, batting .379 against Atlanta this season, also scored twice and stole two bases as the Mets beat Braves ace Jair Jurrjens for the second straight time.
Jurrjens (8-3) gave up four runs in 5 1/3 innings and has been touched for seven runs in 11 2/3 innings against the Mets this season.
Jonathon Niese (6-5) allowed two runs in 6 1/3 innings in his second straight strong effort against Atlanta. Francisco Rodriguez struck out two of three batters the ninth inning to earn his 19th save.
The Mets broke a 1-1 tie by scoring a pair in the third on an RBI single by Angel Pagan and a sacrifice fly from Lucas Duda. New York made it 4-1 when Reyes singled home a run in the sixth.
