Marlins 4, Dodgers 2
Mike Stanton broke a tie with a two-run single in the sixth inning and Gaby Sanchez hit his third home run as the Florida Marlins nailed down a 4-2 home victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.
The Marlins, who have won seven of eight, came back to win for the 10th time this season - and the second night in a row, although they were never in much of a hole.
Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier had an RBI double in the first to extend his hitting streak to 23 games - the longest April streak in major league history.
Stanton's hit - with the game tied 2-2 - came off starter Clayton Kershaw (2-3), who allowed four runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Marlins starter Chris Volstad (2-1) had his best outing of the season - he held the Dodgers to two runs on seven hits in seven innings and struck out five.
Leo Nunez pitched around a leadoff single in the ninth for his seventh save.
James Loney was 4-for-4 for the Dodgers, who have lost three of four.
