Marlins 6, Astros 1

Logan Morrison had three hits and three RBIs, and Ricky Nolasco threw his second complete game in his last three starts to lead the host Florida Marlins to their fourth consecutive victory, 6-1 over the Houston Astros on Saturday night.

Morrison did most of his damage with a three-run triple in the fifth. He was a home run short of the cycle, and was lifted for a pinch-runner after his single in the seventh.

Nolasco (6-5) struck out eight and allowed seven hits to beat the Astros for the second time this season. The righthander won for only the second time in his last six starts, but has allowed one run or fewer in each of his last three outings.

The Astros, who are a major league-worst 30-61, lost for the ninth time in 10 games and the 13th time in 15 games. They have scored three runs or fewer in 10 of those 15.

Hanley Ramirez went 0-for-3 but drove in two runs for the Marlins. He has 20 RBIs in his past 17 games after driving in 17 in his first 55 games.

Florida, which last won four straight April 19-22, improved to 10-8 since interim manager Jack McKeon took over June 20.
