Phillies 3, Athletics 1

Jimmy Rollins went 4-for-4 and Roy Halladay tossed a complete-game gem for his 10th win of the season as the Philadelphia Phillies posted a 3-1 home triumph over the Oakland Athletics on Sunday.

After going hitless in his previous three games, Rollins reeled off three singles and a double. He scored on RBI singles by Shane Victorino and Ben Francisco as Philadelphia took two of three from Oakland despite scoring only five runs in the series.

The modest offense was enough for Halladay (10-3), who recorded a pair of no-decisions in his previous two outings. The reigning National League Cy Young Award winner allowed one run on eight hits and struck out four.

Josh Outman (3-2) posted his sixth quality start in seven outings this season, but saw his two-game winning streak come to an end. He permitted three runs on eight hits in six innings.

Ryan Sweeney plated Coco Crisp with an RBI single in the fourth inning for Oakland, which has dropped four of its last five contests following a season-high six-game winning streak.
