Ryan Braun hit a two-run home run to extend his hitting streak to 17 games and Chris Narveson pitched into the seventh and drove in a run to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 6-2 win and a three-game sweep of the Minnesota Twins on Sunday at Miller Park.
The Brewers, who have won seven straight against the Twins, improved their major league-best home record to 29-11 and sent Minnesota to its fifth consecutive loss. Milwaukee increased its lead in the National League Central to three games with St. Louis' 5-0 loss to Toronto.
Twins starter Carl Pavano (5-6) struggled for the first time this month, allowing five runs over six innings. He entered with a 3-0 record and a 1.64 ERA in four June starts.
Narveson (5-5) struck out seven in 6 2/3 innings and added an RBI double to win for the third time in four starts.
Braun hit his 16th home run, a two-run shot in the fifth, and Prince Fielder added an RBI single in the seventh for the Brewers, boosting his NL-leading RBI total to 68.
