Brewers 3, Cubs 2

Zack Greinke pitched 7 2/3 strong innings and Corey Hart homered to lead Milwaukee to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday, completing a three-game home sweep.

Greinke (13-5) struck out seven and allowed just four hits before leaving with a 3-0 lead and a man on second. Darwin Barney broke up the shutout bid with an RBI double against Francisco Rodriguez, and Tyler Colvin added a one-out solo homer off John Axford in the ninth.

Greinke still escaped with the win to improve to 10-0 in his career at Miller Park.

The Brewers, who maintained their 10 1/2-game lead over the Cardinals in the National League Central, took a 1-0 lead in the first on Ryan Braun's RBI double. In the fifth, Hart followed a Greinke base hit with a two-run homer to left.

Casey Coleman (2-7) pitched seven innings for Chicago, allowing three runs on six hits. He walked three and struck out six.

Cubs manager Mike Quade was ejected in the first for arguing balls and strikes with home plate umpire Bill Miller. Chicago third baseman Aramis Ramirez saw his hitting streak end at 16 games.
