Nationals 4, Astros 3 (11)
Ryan Zimmerman scored the winning run on an error by third baseman Jimmy Paredes in the 1tth inning to lift the Washington Nationals to a 4-3 win over the visiting Houston Astros on Friday night.
Zimmerman also had a two-run homer to help the Nationals win for just the fourth time in 16 games.
Jayson Werth followed one-out walks by Zimmerman and Michael Morse with an infield single to third before Paredes' blunder allowed the winning run to score.
The defeat gave the Astros (48-96) twice as many losses as wins and dropped them to a major league-worst 22-51 away from home.
Tyler Clippard (3-0) pitched three innings for the win while Lucas Harrell (0-1) took the loss.
Nationals rookie Chris Marrero had a tying RBI double in the seventh off Bud Norris, continuing a drought that has seen the Houston righthander win just once in 11 starts.
Houston's Clint Barmes had an RBI double and recorded his third consecutive multi-hit game and fifth two-hit game in his last eight.
