Rays 10, White Sox 4

Matt Joyce belted a three-run homer and Matt Moore allowed one hit over 5 1/3 solid innings as visiting Tampa Bay cruised to its ninth win in 10 games.

Jeff Keppinger launched a two-run shot and Chris Gimenez led off the sixth inning with his first homer as the Rays banged out 13 hits. Tampa Bay remained three games behind Oakland in the race for the second wild card as the Athletics rallied for a 7-4 triumph over Seattle on Saturday.

Orlando Hudson belted a grand slam in the eighth inning for the White Sox, who have dropped nine of 11 to fall two games behind Detroit in the American League Central. The Tigers posted a 6-4 triumph over Minnesota on Saturday.

After Zobrist opened the scoring with an RBI double, Keppinger followed two batters later and crushed an offering from Chris Sale (17-8) into the seats in left field. The blast was Keppinger's ninth this season - and second in five games.

Moore (11-11) ended a four-game losing skid in impressive fashion by striking out four.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Sale recorded his shortest outing of the season by exiting after 3 1/3 innings. He permitted five runs on seven hits to fall to 9-3 at home this season. ...
