Diamondbacks 8, Marlins 4

Wade Miley took a no-hitter into the sixth and left fielder Jason Kubel drove in three runs as visiting Arizona extended the Marlins' woes.

Miley (3-0), making his second start for the injured Daniel Hudson, allowed one run on one hit over 6 1/3 innings. Miami lost for the seventh time in eight games, scoring a total of 13 runs in that span. Third baseman Hanley Ramirez went 0-for-3 and has one hit in his last 30 at-bats.

Kubel, who has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, went 3-for-5 with a two-run double in Arizona's five-run sixth. Shortstop Cody Ransom followed with a two-run double as the D-Backs blew it open.

It was 8-1 in the ninth when Miami's Giancarlo Stanton belted a three-run homer.

Josh Johnson (0-3) lost for the second time in five career decisions against the D-Backs. He was tagged for 10 hits and five earned runs in 5 1/3 innings.
