Phillies 3, Diamondbacks 0
Erik Kratz homered and drew a bases-loaded walk and Roy Halladay returned to form with seven innings of three-hit ball as Philadelphia evened its series with visiting Arizona at a game apiece.
Halladay (5-6) had struggled since returning from the disabled list but looked like his old self Saturday, striking out five and walking one in his first win since May 17. Josh Lindblom worked a perfect eighth and Jonathan Papelbon struck out two in the ninth for his 24th save to finish the three-hitter.
Kratz provided all the offense Halladay needed. He led off the third by ripping a 2-0 fastball out to left for his fourth homer, then worked a five-pitch walk to force home a run an inning later. Domonic Brown added an RBI single in the eighth for the Phillies, who won for only the third time in eight games.
Arizona left-hander Joe Saunders (5-8) lost his second straight start, allowing two runs on six hits over 6 1/3 innings.
Stephen Drew had two of the three hits for the Diamondbacks, who had their four-game win streak snapped and failed in their bid to move a season-high five games over .500.
