White Sox 7, Indians 2: Gordon Beckham went 3-for-4 with a home run and Chris Sale continued a successful conversion to the starting rotation with six strong innings as host Chicago cruised.

A.J. Pierzynski added a solo blast and Alejandro De Aza scored a pair of runs for the White Sox, who have won back-to-back games.

Sale (3-1) allowed a run on three hits while striking out three and walking one. The 23-year old left-hander has yet to allow more than three runs in an outing.

Chicago fell behind in the second inning but immediately got it back against Ubaldo Jimenez (2-2). Pierzynski started it off in the bottom of the second, when he took an 0-2 cutter and hooked it into the right field seats for his fifth homer.

Beckham was next, starting a four-run rally in the third with his first blast of the season. Jimenez walked in a run and Alex Rios made it 4-1 with an RBI groundout before Dayan Viciedo capped the rally with an RBI single.

Jimenez lasted 4 2/3 innings and was charged with seven runs - four earned - and eight hits while issuing six walks and striking out one.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Johnny Damon was added to the Cleveland roster on Tuesday but did not make his debut because of the left-handed Sale on the mound. Damon is expected to platoon in left field with Shelley Duncan, who hit a solo homer on Tuesday. … The top five hitters in the Cleveland lineup combined to go 0-for-20. … Beckham entered Tuesday with a .153 batting average and one multi-hit game this season.
