Athletics 7, Indians 0
Brandon Moss homered and had three RBIs to back six scoreless innings from Tommy Milone as visiting Oakland extended its winning streak to four games.
Chris Carter homered among his three hits and drove in a pair of runs to help the surging Athletics win for the 10th time in 12 games and remain tied with Baltimore atop the American League wild card standings.
Milone (11-9) won his second straight start, giving up seven hits while striking out five and walking one as Oakland blanked Cleveland for the second straight night.
Losers of 12 of 13 games, the Indians have not scored in their last 22 innings and have pushed across only 11 runs in their last nine games.
The Athletics jumped on Indians right-hander Zach McAllister for two runs in the second and two more in the third on a towering homer to center by Moss, his 14th of the year. Carter's solo blast in the fifth made it 5-0.
McAllister (5-5) lasted only 4 1/3 innings, allowing five runs - four earned - on nine hits, and Carlos Santana had two of the eight hits for the Indians, who stranded nine runners.
