Mariners 5, Twins 4

Trayvon Robinson's two-run single capped a four-run sixth inning and visiting Seattle took three of four games from Minnesota.

Blake Beavan (9-8) overcame a rocky first inning to allow two runs on five hits in seven innings and beat the Twins for the second time in 12 days.

Closer Tom Wilhelmsen worked around a pair of walks in the ninth to earn his 21st save.

Kyle Seager had a pair of RBIs to lift the Mariners to their 11th win in 15 games and eighth in the last nine meetings with Minnesota.

Twins left-hander Brian Duensing (3-10) lost for the fourth time in five starts, giving up four runs - three earned - on four hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Josh Willingham belted a two-run homer off Stephen Pryor in the eighth, his 33rd, but he also committed a costly error during the decisive sixth inning as Minnesota fell to 4-17 in its last 21 games.

Seager's sacrifice fly tied it at 2-2 in the sixth before Willingham dropped a routine fly ball in left field, allowing Dustin Ackley to score the go-ahead run before Robinson delivered a two-run single for a 5-2 lead.
