Giants 4, Brewers 3 (11)

Giants 4, Brewers 3: Hector Sanchez sliced a single into left field with one out in the bottom of the 11th as San Francisco beat Milwaukee for the second straight day.

Buster Posey led off the 11th with a single off Tim Dillard (0-1), and pinch-runner Emmanuel Burriss advanced to second on Angel Pagan’s sacrifice bunt. Brandon Belt was walked intentionally and Ryan Theriot coaxed a walk to load the bases before the left-handed Sanchez delivered the game-winning hit.

Javier Lopez (3-0) retired one batter in the top of the 11th.

Milwaukee was down to its final strike in the ninth when former Giant Travis Ishikawa lofted a game-tying double to left-center field off closer Santiago Casilla to score Corey Hart from first.

Hard-luck Giants pitcher Matt Cain struck out 10 in seven innings and allowed two runs and six hits.

Aramis Ramirez drove in Milwaukee’s first two runs with a first-inning single and a sixth-inning sacrifice fly.

San Francisco tallied twice in the bottom of the first to take a 2-1 lead. Conor Gillaspie had a run-scoring double and scored when Pagan hit into a fielder’s choice.
Pagan doubled in the fourth and scored on a single by Theriot to make it 3-1.

Brewers starter Shaun Marcum allowed three runs and five him in six innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: It was the second time Cain reached double digits in strikeouts this season and ninth time in his career. He fanned 11 against Pittsburgh on April 13 … Milwaukee’s Ryan Braun struck out three times for the third time this season … Pagan went 2-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to 20 games … The Brewers placed shortstop Alex Gonzalez (knee) and outfielder Carlos Gomez (hamstring) on the disabled list.
