Yovani Gallardo allowed one run over 7 1/3 innings as visiting Milwaukee downed Arizona.

Ryan Braun, Corey Hart and Rickie Weeks all homered as the Brewers won for just the fourth time in 12 games.

Gallardo (3-4) surrendered just five hits while striking out five as he improved to 6-0 in six career regular-season starts against Arizona, which has lost 13 of its last 19 games.

Weeks gave Milwaukee a 1-0 lead in the second with a two-out homer. Nyjer Morgan led off the fourth with a single before Braun hit an opposite-field shot off Ian Kennedy (3-5) to make it a three-run advantage.

Cesar Izturis added a run-scoring single later in the fourth. Arizona got on the board in the bottom of the inning on a two-out blast by Jason Kubel.

Hart hit a two-run shot to left field in the eighth and Travis Ishikawa lifted a sacrifice fly in the ninth.

Kennedy gave up four runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings while losing his career-worst fifth straight start. Kennedy has allowed 20 earned runs in 30 innings during the stretch.
