Pinch-runner Carlos Gomez scored on two errors in the bottom of the ninth as Milwaukee won for the third time in four games.
Aramis Ramirez led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk off Arizona reliever Patrick Corbin (2-4). Gomez came on to run for Ramirez, stole second, advanced to third on catcher Miguel Montero's throwing error, then came home on a throwing error by center fielder Gerardo Parra.
The Brewers got two hits and a run scored from right fielder Norichika Aoki. Aoki led off the bottom of the fourth with a ground-rule double, moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on Nyjer Morgan’s groundout to give the Brewers a 1-0 lead.
Milwaukee held the lead until the eighth. Jason Kubel hit the first pitch of the inning from Francisco Rodriguez over the center field fence, as Kubel’s 12th homer of the season tied the game at 1-1.
Milwaukee starter Yovani Gallardo worked around five walks, giving up three hits while striking out six in 6 2/3 shutout innings. Arizona starter Josh Collmenter also pitched well, allowing three hits and one run with five strikeouts in six innings.
John Axford (3-5) pitched the ninth to get the victory for Milwaukee.
