Mariners 10, Rangers 3: John Jaso homered and drove in three runs as visiting Seattle snapped its five-game losing streak and evened the three-game series.
Kyle Seager and Michael Saunders each collected three hits while Dustin Ackley went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Mariners, who matched their season high for runs.
After missing Monday's series opener with an upper respiratory infection, slugger Josh Hamilton homered and drove in three runs for the Rangers, who had their four-game winning streak snapped. Hamilton leads the majors with 21 homers and 56 RBIs.
Jaso belted a two-run shot in the second inning to put Seattle ahead for good and added an RBI single during a six-run eighth. Ackley, Mike Carp and Ichiro Suzuki also drove in a run apiece in the inning as the Mariners tied their season high for runs in a frame.
Jason Vargas (6-4) allowed three runs and five hits over 6 2/3 innings to win his second straight road start.
Texas starter Scott Feldman (0-3) lasted 4 2/3 innings, surrendering four runs - two earned - and four hits.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Rangers bolstered their starting rotation Tuesday by agreeing to terms on a minor-league contract with free-agent RH Roy Oswalt. The three-time All-Star, who posted back-to-back 20-win seasons with Houston in 2004-05, is slated to join Triple-A Round Rock later this week. ... Seattle also scored 10 runs May 19 in a win at Colorado. ... The six runs allowed by Texas in the sixth were the most surrendered by the club in an inning this season. ...
