Chris Davis hit his major league-leading 32nd home run and later delivered a tiebreaking two-run double in the eighth inning to power visiting Baltimore.
Scott Feldman, who was acquired from the Cubs on Tuesday, allowed two runs, six hits and struck out six in six innings for Baltimore. Darren O'Day (4-0) pitched a scoreless seventh, Tommy Hunter celebrated his 27th birthday with a perfect eighth and Jim Johnson allowed two hits in the ninth before earning his 29th save.
Gordon Beckham hit his first home run of the season for the White Sox, who have lost six of their last seven games. Hector Santiago allowed two runs and matched a season high with nine strikeouts in seven innings before Matt Lindstrom (2-3) took the loss after being charged with two runs.
Baltimore's first three batters reached in the first inning - capped by Adam Jones' run-scoring single - before Adam Dunn tied it with a one-out RBI double in the bottom half. The Orioles went ahead 2-1 when Davis sent the first pitch of the fourth over the left-field wall while Beckham answered to lead off the fifth.
Nick Markakis led off the eighth inning with a single to center and one batter later, Jones singled to left off Lindstrom. Davis greeted reliever Matt Thornton with a double down the right-field line for his 82nd and 83rd RBIs - two behind major-league leader Miguel Cabrera of Detroit.
