Wade Miley pitched eight solid innings and delivered a three-run double while All-Star Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run homer as host Arizona won its fourth straight game.
Cody Ross had a career-high five hits and scored three runs, Miguel Montero hit a three-run homer and Martin Prado added a two-run shot for the Diamondbacks, who increased their lead in the National West to 4 1/2 games over Colorado and Los Angeles. Miley (5-7) allowed one run, five hits and struck out five.
Carlos Gonzalez, who will start in center field for the NL All-Stars, hit his NL-leading 24th homer and had four hits for the Rockies, who have lost four straight road games. Drew Pomeranz (0-2) allowed five runs, five hits and walked five in four innings.
Pomeranz walked two batters in the second inning to load the bases for Miley, who sliced a two-out double down the left-field line to make it 3-0. Goldschmidt increased his NL-leading RBI total to 73 in the third when he ripped a high fastball well into the seats in left.
The Diamondbacks made it 6-0 in the fifth inning on Gerardo Parra's run-scoring double before Gonzalez homered to left-center leading off the seventh. Prado's home run came in the seventh while Montero delivered his blast in the eighth.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Diamondbacks have recorded an extra-base hit in a major league-best 71 consecutive games. ... Goldschmidt and Arizona LHP Patrick Corbin - Sunday's starter - will make their first All-Star Game appearances after the teams were announced Saturday while SS Troy Tulowitzki (starter) and OF Michael Cuddyer will appear for the second time for Colorado - as will Gonzalez. ... Miley's victory, his first since June 5, was the third time an Arizona starter won in the last four games after not winning for 23 straight contests.
